A lot has happened

Well, a lot has happened since I last commented on this blog, and I will try to keep it short, and I will try to post more frequently.
The big news is we are now officially a 501(c)(3) public charity so our donations are tax-deductible. Thanks to Bob Zimberoff and Brandy Warnick, both Caroline County residents, for stepping up and agreeing to serve on our board. The search for more board members continues.
I participated in SummerFest with our display that featured our bird identification game and the Great Pine Cone Challenge. We offered cans of root beer for 50 cents, which basically offset our both and supply expenses.
